Quick Notes

• Get your holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) requests in by Friday, Oct. 17.  There should be enough dates for everyone to take time off for one of these holidays, as long as we have enough staff to run the libraries.  Plan ahead and share the wealth!
• We have been asked to stop weeding until the Friends warehouse has more room but we should always continue to weed items based on condition (see handout--Physical Condition Guidelines); store the condition discards in the last row for moving shelves in the workroom.

• Review the CIty’s Electronic Timekeeping Policy.  We’ll discuss it at the October staff meeting. (http://www.houstontx.gov/adminpolicies/2-4.pdf).
